Accessibility
GovSource Public Safety wants everyone to be able to create and use a GovID account, including people who use assistive technology. If anything on GovID.net or our connected sites is hard to use, please tell us and we will help.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across GovID.net and our connected sites: GovSource.com, NLEHN.org and OfficerTestPrep.com.
What we do
- Label form fields and error messages clearly, and announce errors to screen readers.
- Support keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Use readable text sizes and color contrast, and layouts that work when zoomed and on phones.
- Offer one-time codes by email, and by text message where available, so you can choose the way that works best for you.
- Review new pages and features for accessibility before they go live.
Known limitations
Some documents, such as older PDF forms, and some features provided by third parties, such as payment forms, may not yet be fully accessible. If you need a document in another format or help completing a step, contact us and we will provide an alternative.

Email support@govid.net with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and the problem you ran into. We aim to reply within two business days.
